This course was designed to help you prepare for an emergency situation including natural disasters, terrorist attacks or active shooter.
Description
The series of videos included in this course is designed to help you prepare for disasters. The videos can be used by themselves or as part of a workplace training program. This course was produced by and for the city of Houston, but its principles extend beyond the region.
There are 3 videos included:
- “Are You Ready?” is designed to help residents of the Houston region prepare for disasters. (The video lasts about 16 minutes).
- Make the Call is a terrorism awareness program. (Video lasts about 7 minutes).
- The “Run. Hide. Fight.®” videos provide the information you need to survive an active shooter event. (Video lasts about 7 minutes).
