We will then schedule a call to discuss the next steps. If you have never published a course, we will hold your hand through the entire process from planning all the way to publishing and sales.

Much like authoring a book, publishing a course puts your in a whole new league of professionals who are confident, have relevant experiences to share and are contributing to advance the industry. Besides the priceless benefit of building your personal brand, you will also join a community of Oil and Gas experts, gain access to our support to build engaging courses, gain visibility from thousands of professionals and companies coming to Petrolessons to find training and make money each time your courses are sold.

Most of the courses in our library are e-learning/on-demand format made up of video lectures (mp4). But you can also publish in-classroom training, live virtual training and blended sessions.

Course prices are up to you to decide. We can assist with researching other available offerings in the marketplace, but ultimately it’s your decision how much you wish to sell your courses.

There is no set minimum or maximum length for courses on Petrolessons. Our recommendation is to create courses of 1-3 hours in length. If your topic is longer, we suggest breaking it into different courses.

Petrolessons is a global knowledge hub. Your courses will be available for purchase from anywhere around the globe. We currently have professionals and companies from over 120 countries using Petrolessons.

There is no limit on how much money you can make on Petrolessons. Each time your courses are sold, you will make money!

Publishers have access to a custom dashboard where you can track each and every sale as well as see traction on your training pages.

From your dashboard you will see how much money you have available and you can request to withdraw your funds. Most publishers get paid via Paypal 30 days after purchases. For countries where Paypal is not available we can make payments via other methods. For large amounts, we use wire transfer.

We have thousands of professionals and companies from around the world looking for courses on Petrolessons. While we don’t take the sole responsibility for sales of your course, we partner and support publishers to build more engaging courses, building a sales funnel, creating marketing materials and offering your courses to the market through our social media and internal members channels. 

Yes you can, but we don’t recommend it. While we’ve built an oil and gas specific knowledge hub and there is obvious thousands of professionals and companies coming to the portal monthly,  most successful publishers work with us to distribute, actively position their courses in the marketplace and to update content per users feedback. Publishers can also request our help elevating your brand outside the portal. We’ve helped our instructors publish books, join the speakers circle, exhibit in tradeshows, become guests in interviews among other initiatives that help to build your brand through exposure. All of these tasks will ultimately help you sell more courses.

You own the copyright to your courses. We are a distribution platform, optimizing sales and distribution of your content and helping you to build your brand.
