Sunil Mangotra is an oil and gas veteran with over 32 years of experience in Upstream Exploration with India’s national oil company ONGC where his roles included Field Chemist/Geochemist/Petroleum
System Modeling, Geochemistry expert and Deputy General Manager.
During his three decades in oil and gas, he led
and worked with various multidisciplinary teams in evaluation of
exploratory areas and preliminary evaluation of Shale Gas acreages in India. He also held several managerial positions with direct responsibility for
managing careers and mentoring junior geoscientists.He had the opportunity to be on two foreign assignments at IFP France &
