With over 35 years of experience in oil and gas, Tom enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience through his video courses, in-classroom training, books, advisory in several industry organizations and speaking engagements.
Tom served for seven years as President of Conoco Pipe Line Company and
three years as Chairman of Explorer Pipe Line Company. Tom has also
served as Chairman of both the Audit Committee and the Compensation
Committee of Explorer Pipe Line Company, and on the Board of Directors
of Conoco Pipe Line Company, Continental Pipe Line Company, Conoco
Offshore Pipe Line Company, Yellowstone Pipe Line Company, Pioneer Pipe
Line Company, and Sentinel Transportation Company.
Tom's books include Oil and Gas Pipelines in NonTechnical Language by PennWell Published in 2006, and the soon to be published Natural Gas Local Distribution Pipelines in NonTechnical Language which will be released in late 2016.
Tom has taught over 100 classes about midstream topics, both publicly and for private clients, from his repertoire of 20 different courses. He has also twice presented to National Academy of Science Study groups investigating oil pipeline matters.
