This course covers every aspect of Pipe & Pipe Fittings used in the oil and gas industry.

This course is divided into 3 parts:
Part I: The first part of the course covers fundamental of process industries and process piping. You will also learn about Code, Standard & Specification used in process industries.
Part II: We will cover various types of material used in process industries. You will learn about Metallic and Non-Metallic material used to manufacture pipe and other piping components.
Part III: We will include details about pipe and piping components used in Process piping. Here you will learn about Industry terminology of Piping components, types of industrial material grade used in manufacturing and entire manufacturing process of these components. We will discuss different manufacturing methods, heat treatment requirements, destructive and non-destructive testing, visual & dimensional inspection and product marking requirements.

From the beginning of career, Varun worked on multi-billion dollar Oil & Gas projects in Asia and Middle East, including refinery, petrochemical and offshore projects. His roles included Project Engineer, Piping Engineer, Construction Engineer, Inspection Engineer and Maintenance Engineer.
His experience covers the entire project life cycle from project initiation to project closed out. He has extensive exposure to project FEED, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning.
While working in refinery operation and maintenance, he visited many manufacturing facilities for supplier approval and inspection of all kinds of piping material. He also has vast experience in static and rotary equipment used in refineries.
He has in-depth knowledge of piping and equipment manufacturing, welding, inspection methods and techniques use in Oil and Gas industry. He also has experience in non-destructive and destructive testing use during construction of big oil and gas processing and production complex.
