This course provides an introduction to Process Excellence, and how Lean is the tool to achieve it. The fundamental concepts of Lean are covered to help the participant take the first steps towards implementation of Lean.
We will cover the basic questions one may have such as what is lean management, why lean, who should practice lean, how to implement lean and where lean is applicable along with a few case studies. We will dive a bit deeper on the waste elimination and provide an Eight Waste Worksheet. We'll wrap up the course with a quiz to confirm your gained knowledge.

With multiple certifications in different continuous improvement methodologies, Jeff Adams is a recognized expert in continuous improvement. He holds a Green Belt in Six Sigma from the American Society on Quality (ASQ), a Level 1 certification in Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) from the Tempus Institute, and is Lean Silver Certified from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) . Jeff is also a graduate of the NOV University Manufacturing Leadership Course at Rice University.
